Counselling and coaching can be conducted face to face, or by telephone or Skype. (We particularly recommend Skype.) Where either practical or emotional constraints suggest it, an exchange of emails can be a useful means to establishing needs and problems at the outset; and computer conferencing can make a very suitable medium for the entire process in many cases.
Sessions typically last about forty-five minutes, but can be of any reasonable duration. There is no set number or frequency of sessions: these must be tailor-made to suit the situation. An initial session is always needed, of course, to determine the situation and the aims for change and achievement. Occasionally, that single session will be adequate; but usually there will need to be a series of four to six sessions, usually with a follow-up session at some later agreed point.
Our coaching and counselling services are totally confidential. They are conducted by a husband and wife team, based on professional qualifications, and decades of experience at all levels.
